Uganda: Banana Farmers Trained in Solar Drying

As part of efforts to reduce post-harvest wastage and enable value addition, Uganda Small Scale Industries Association (USSIA) in partnership with KCB supported a training of banana farmers on the various aspects of handling produce after harvest.

It was held in Mbarara, and the focus was on how to dry their banana produce using the solar drying method.
