Germany's GIZ Unites with Namibia to Open Solar Skills Center

Namibia, with help from the German Federal Enterprise for International Cooperation (GIZ), unveils a renewable energy installation project to bridge the skills gap.

In southern Africa, the Namibia Training Authority (NTA) has collaborated with GIZ to bring the Etango project into existence that will provide renewable energy installations coaching to students at the Windhoek Vocational Training Centre.

According to local media the Namibian, the project consists of a small wooden house with a solar photovoltaic and solar water heating system on the roof that will be used to train installation and maintenance students.
