Nigeria's President Canvasses Support for Lake Chad

President Muhammadu Buhari says Nigeria and the other nations of the Lake Chad region lack the required funds to channel water from the Congo Basin into the lake to check its rapid depletion.
He, therefore, appealed to wealthy countries to urgently save the lake from extinction as a result of effects of climate change.
