A two-day training for journalists from West and Central African regions ended last Thursday, 15th October 2015 in Dakar, Senegal. The training was organised by the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ)) Africa office, in collaboration with the Syndicat des Professionnels del’Information et de la Communication (SYNPICS).

The workshop, aimed at enhancing the capacities of journalists to report effectively on climate change issues, was a follow-up to the continental conference on Media and Climate Change, under the Union to Union Project 2014 -2016.

During the training, participants were exposed to various techniques of reporting on climate change and to explain some scientific terms used by scientists on climate change.
