Nigeria's Calabar Carnival Themed 'Climate Change'

Gov. Ben Ayade of Cross River, has inaugurated the 2016 dry run to signify the commencement of the 2016 annual Calabar Carnival. Speaking after the inauguration on Sunday in Calabar, Ayade said that the celebration marked the 12th anniversary of the carnival.

The governor, who disclosed that the theme of the 2016 carnival is `Climate Change,’ described the carnival as `the largest street party in Africa.’
