IFAD to Improve Farmers’ Yield, Income through Climate Change Adaptation

International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD) says its Climate Change Adaptation Support Programme (CASP) will help to enhance the yield and profit margins of rural farmers.

Dr Ben Adanana, Country Programme Officer, made this known at the ongoing training for staff on Climate Change Adaptation approach in Nigeria for seven participating states in Abuja, Nigeria on Friday.

According to him, the new programme which is known as Community Based Agricultural and Rural Development (CBARDP) was a follow-up programme to Katsina and Sokoto Agricultural Community Development Programme.
