Climate-Resilient Seed Varieties Part of Research Center Visit
Expanding new technologies of research outcomes to the farmers needs the joint involvement of all stakeholders and institutions to meet the technology demands of farmers.
The Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research (EIAR) said over the weekend that agricultural researches being conducted at national and regional level are contributing to the agricultural demands of the country in crop, livestock, soil, water, agricultural mechanization, bio-technology and agricultural conservation prospect of the nation to increase productivity.
The Institute co-organized a day-long farmers day visit in collaboration with Mehone Agricultural Research Centre in Tigray State to share experiences in new technology and research outcome on sorghum seed variety production for farmers coming from the vicinity.
