The government of Malawi through Karonga Agricultural Development Division (KRADD) has launched some measures to combat the impact of climate change on agricultural production.

The tripartite launch has been made in Karonga district under the theme, “Optimisation of agricultural productivity through manure making, irrigation farming and livestock feed preservation.”

Through the project, the ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development seeks to advise farmers in Malawi to adopt the use of manure, preserving livestock feed and practicing irrigation farming to improve crop and animal production to feed the increasing population amid climate change.
