Opinion: Teaching Climate Change Concept in Ugandan Schools
Although the countries of Africa have some of the lowest overall and per capita global warming emissions on the planet, they are also likely to suffer from some of the worst consequences of climate change, studies have shown. The African continent has warmed about half a degree over the last century and the average annual temperature is likely to rise to an average of 1.5-4°C by 2099, according to the estimates from the International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).
